To track your ads and provide accurate tracking and attribution data, segment customer lifetime value on marketing channels, etc. you will need to use the supported UTMs.

Luckily, it's easy. You don't need to pause existing campaigns to add or edit the UTMs. It won't affect your existing campaigns - at all! You just ensure after UTM implementation that we track and attribute all your sales correctly.

All you need to do now, is to copy the exact UTMs provided below, and paste them into your Ads Manager account (just follow our easy-to-understand guides per platform):

Facebook Ads UTM (ad level setting)

Copy/paste this UTM:

utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign={{campaign.name}}&utm_term={{adset.name}}&utm_content={{ad.name}}&fbadid={{ad.id}}

Step-by-step guide (Facebook Ads):

Google Ads UTM (account / campaign level setting)

Copy / paste this UTM:

{lpurl}?utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign={campaignid}&utm_content={adgroupid}&utm_term={keyword}&gadid={creative}

?utm_source=snapchat&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign={{campaign.name}}&utm_term={{adSet.name}}&utm_content={{creative.name}}&scadid={{ad.id}}
