Google Ads: How to optimize campaigns for Reaktion's serverside tracking (conversion value)

Modified on Thu, 13 Mar at 7:37 AM

Note: Before you proceed, please check you have no remaining tasks here and  Reaktion has been integrated for at least 2 weeks (and ideally has tracked more than 100 conversions on Google).

Step #1

Go to your conversion events in Google Ads: https://ads.google.com/aw/conversions

Step #1
Start by finding the conversion action named "ReaktionRevenue" and click.

Step #2 - Set "ReaktionRevenue" as Primary

Here you'll find the conversion action details. Set this as a "Primary action used for bidding optimization".

Remember to click "Save" and then "Done" in the lower part of the screen.

Step #3 - Set "ReaktionRevenue (Conversion Booster)" as Primary

Here you'll find the conversion action details. Set this as a "Primary action used for bidding optimization".

Remember to click "Save" and then "Done" in the lower part of the screen.

Now your conversion action overview should look like this:

That's it! By setting these conversion actions as the primary events you are asking the Google Ads algorithm to optimize for revenue (order value) based on Reaktion server-side tracking!

If you have noticed that Reaktion Offline tracking performs better - the ReaktionOfflineRevenue event tracks more conversions and conversion value then ReaktionRevenue + ReaktionRevenue (conversion booster) combined, you can also use this event as your primary conversion action.

When using ReaktionOfflineRevenue as the Primary action, please ensure to set ReaktionRevenue and ReaktionRevenue (conversion booster) as secondary actions.
