Add Reaktion Tracking Script to Shopify: Step-by-Step Setup

NOTE: 
 - This is a unique script per shop; if you operate multiple shops. 

 - Only one script is needed if you have one shop with multiple Shopify Markets. 


Here is a short video on how to get the tracking script from Reaktion and set it up in Shopify:




To find the script, please log into Reaktion and click on this link: https://advertiser.reaktion.com/tracking/my-tracking


You can also navigate to this page by selecting "Tracking" in the left sidebar and then clicking on "My Tracking":


Click "Manage" next to Shopify Tracking, select the store (only if you have multiple stores connected), and click on "Copy" next to the script: 



NOW: Log in to your Shopify account and paste this script into your Shopify account. Follow the step-by-step instructions below.


How-to guide for pasting our script into your Shopify store:


1. Go to Settings in the Shopify menu 



2. Click on Customer events in the menu.



3. Click Add custom pixel.



4. Give the pixel a name (ex., Reaktion pixel) and click Add pixel.



5. In the Customer privacy section, please enable the following options

  • Permission: Not required
  • Data sale: Data collected qualifies as data sale and supports limited data use



6. Paste the script copied from Reaktion in the Code area and click Save.



7. Click Connect.



8. Confirm by clicking Connect on the pop-up that appears.



8. Done! Your new Shopify Script is now activated and live.


The warning message Pixel will not track any customer behavior because it is not subscribed to any events can be ignored. The script will still work as intended.
