How to Match Product Variant IDs in Google Merchant Center with Reaktion

We use your ecommerce platform’s product variant ID by default as the matching key between our supplemental feed (which contains the custom labels) and your existing feed used in platforms such as Google Merchant Center. This matching method should work in most cases.

However, when using third-party XML feed tools, the original ecommerce platform product variant IDs may sometimes be replaced with unique IDs generated by the feed provider. Since we rely on matching product variants with the IDs used in Merchant Center, we need to identify both the ecommerce platform’s product variant ID and the corresponding ID generated by your XML feed provider.
