For Prestashop, you can add and manage your COGS in Reaktion in three ways:
1. Set up COGS directly in Prestashop in the 'Cost Price' field.
We will then automatically sync this to Reaktion.
2. Import an XML feed with COGS price into Reaktion. Please refer to this guide.
3. Set COGS directly in Reaktion (Easy if you do not have too many products). Please refer to this guide.
Don't have the time to set costs for all your products?
While we recommend setting costs for all your products, it should not hold you back from getting started with Reaktion. As a starting point, you can set a default Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
How to calculate default COGS?
You should ask yourself / your client:
On average, how much do I spend on products when I sell for $100 / 100 kr. EXCLUDING VAT? Let's say you / your client spend $35 / 35 kr., then enter 35% here: https://advertiser.reaktion.com/setup/cost-settings?step=1
Note: If you / the client has set specific costs at the product level, then these specific costs will overwrite the default Cost of Goods Sold percentage.
