Fix Data Mismatch Between Shopify and Reaktion Reports

A small difference between the Total Sales data reported in Shopify and Reaktion dashboards can occur under certain circumstances. 


For example, if you are using different currencies in Shopify and Reaktion (you can change the reporting currency in Reaktion on demand), fluctuating exchange rates can also be a factor. We store and use daily exchange rates.


To perform a discrepancy investigation, please send us an export of your orders for the period in question:


Please navigate to https://admin.shopify.com/ → Analytics →  Reports and search for the Total sales over time report:


Select:

  • The time range that needs to be investigated
  • No comparison 
  • Group by: Day
  • Must-have Metrics: Total Sales and Cost of goods sold
  • Dimensions: Day, Order ID


In the top right corner, click ••• to Export the report to CSV and share this CSV file with support@reaktion.com
